The Junior League of Victoria has been granting funds to organizations in the community for over 70 years. From the Children’s Discovery Museum to Making the Grade, we’ve put our hearts and our dollars into countless organizations. Recently the JLV proudly made contributions to the following organizations 2009-2010 Recipients.

COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE FUND

Once a quarter, the Community Vice-President solicits Community Assistance Fund applications from organizations in the community who meet the JLV funding focus. Community Assistance Fund grants can be in any amount up to $1,000.00 An organization may only request funding from the Junior League of Victoria once per year.

The Junior League of Victoria supports and promotes efforts to ensure the enrichment of families and is committed to ensuring that children and families have the opportunities necessary for physical, intellectual, emotional, mental, & economic well-being and social growth. All agencies that have funding needs that fit our focus area can fill out our Community Grant Application and mail to:

Submit a completed written application by the following deadlines:

November allocation – October 1^st

January allocation – December 15th

April allocation – March 1^st

MEMBER SPONSORED GRANTS

Each member of the JLV is empowered to give where her heart is through Member Sponsored Grants to non-profit agencies. Member Sponsored grants can be in any amount up to $1,500.00 and are awarded once a quarter. In order to apply for this award your organization must have a sponsor who is currently an Active Member or Sustainer within the JLV and is an active Volunteer with your organization. An organization may only request funding from the Junior League of Victoria once per year.
